Mr D and I are in the process of setting up the Christmas tree, and we have a quandary, so we are seeking the wise counsel of our fellow Paraders.

We always have a specific angel - namely Castiel - on top our tree, but we can't decide, so we're asking you to vote on which Castiel should top our tree this year!

Minis in the Midlands

Well, Mr Dizzo and I took our few days out, heading up to beautiful Warwickshire, in the heart of England, about two hours from home.  Our home from home during this time was magnificent Chesford Grange Hotel - we had decided to treat ourselves to a little bit of luxury.

MiniLympics - The Closing Ceremony

This has been a long time coming thanks to the pressures of real life, however, as today is the closing ceremony of the Paralympics, it still seems appropriate!

The Minilympics has sadly had to come to an end, and the Minilympics Closing Ceremony is upon us.

Mr Dizzo was on a late shift last night, and came home after I went to bed last night.

When I got up this morning, I happened to glance at my minis - who had previously been taking advantage of a little bit of post-convention arty downtime, and standing in a nice, tidy, civilised straight line on my drawing desk - and this is how I found them ...

This was the scene after I broke the news that I couldn't take all the minis to Jus In Bello.




I'm travelling hand luggage only, and I will need some room in my bag for, you know, sundries like shoes and clothes and toothpaste!

Mini and Teeny Weeny Team Free Will will be accompanying me to Roma to represent the minis.

To make up for their disappointment, Mr Dizzo has promised that the remaining minis will have an adventure while I'm away ...

One of our own, the lovely [livejournal.com profile] kinkthatwinked has some exciting news.

Tomorrow is the graduation ceremony for the batchelors degree that she has worked so hard for over the last few years, and I'm sure you will all join me in congratulating her on this fabulous and huge achievement.
