Summer has finally reached the UK.  Here in the south east, it's been a beautiful, balmy summer day (inbetween the thunderstorms that is).  It was so nice that Mr D and I decided to sit out beside our little pond and enjoy a nice glass of something cold ...

Of course, certain other small people wanted in on the act, and as always, we had no idea what they were up to

Those turquoise rocks are (believe it or not), the scrapings from the bottom of a glass recycling kiln. It looks much nicer than it sounds!

And you're right, Salmon Dean is a legend already :)

Lovely pictures. Loved the salmon!Dean. Too funny. The muse in my head is saying Salmon!Dean is a lot less traumatizing than Sam-on-Ella, that caused him to have a really upset stomach. (Poor Sam, his name is just so punny.)

I guess we can just be thankful that Sam has never had a girlfriend called Ella! The fan art arising from Sam-and-Ella would be a lot less pleasant than that coming from Salmon Dean!
