So, yesterday,  Milly, her wonderful hubby Steve, and I met at the Golden Lion pub in Winchester to catch up, to reminisce about our dear JJ and to enjoy some great food.

We also decided that as this pub has been a past venue for some of the greatest past Mini adventures, that it would be very remiss of us not to bring along a few of the little herberts to join us.

Of course, it didn't take long for the day to decend to usual Parade levels of behaviour....

For June!

I met with [livejournal.com profile] milly_gal today at the Golden Lion in - of all places - Winchester.

We chose the location because this was a favourite haunt of the three of us for meet-ups and Mini shenanigans.  However, this time was different, and difficult.  There was a lot of laughter, a lot of tears and  a lot of wonderful reminiscing about good times with [livejournal.com profile] jj1564.  We also inducted Steve, Milly's long-suffering other half into the mini-madness.

In keeping with our previous visits to the Golden Lion, we decided not to raise a glass to JJ's memory...

We raised a mini instead!

Celebrate Our Third Birthday with our Greatest Hits!

On July the 8th, in the year of our Lord 2014, something stupendous, some may say ridiculously stupendous, happened....yes, our mini comm [livejournal.com profile] spn_on_parade was born!

It all began when [livejournal.com profile] dizzojay, [livejournal.com profile] milly_gal and I decided to start to record the adventures of our little plastic herberts and share them in a community for others to enjoy. We wanted a placed for fun and silliness, and to bring a smile to those of you who share our daft and sometimes twisted sense of humour, through our minis adventures. It has been wonderful to see so many people joining in with our competitions and posting their own minis adventures; we also have a very talented artist who provides wonderful mini cartoons! And some of us made minis of ourselves - see my icon!

We had no idea that our little comm would become so popular and still be around three years later! Here are some amazing stats....
