A few weeks ago, the fanfiction.net SPN100 challenge was to “use the name of a country other than the United States in your drabble”, while the [livejournal.com profile] spn_bigpretzel DEW prompts were “a character of your choice” with “beach”. An idea immediately occurred to me; it’s just taken me until now to get it on paper. I thought Parade friends and minis might also enjoy it :)



“Ah, the sun! The sand! The surf!” Mini!Dean sighed contentedly. “Gotta love the lucky country, Sammy!”

Mini!Sam’s head twisted from the crashing waves to the tiny surf board. He doubted this would end well, but didn’t want to dampen his brother’s enthusiasm for their new Australian home.

A roar of childish laughter and thunderous running footsteps interrupted Sam’s anxieties. Suddenly there was a loud “crump” sound, and all there was left to see of Dean was the top of a shiny plastic head extruding from a damp sandy footprint. From beneath, he heard a muffled cry of “mmm mm m mmmph!”

Us mods and our minis have been having a mini-summit and have decided that as there seems to be a lot going on at the moment, both in fanfic land and in real life, we will extend the deadline for this fic challenge to
Sunday 30th November

The minis can't wait to see what fun and frolics you amazing guys come up with, but in the meantime, I think the last word should be left to mini-Dean ...

The third Teeny-Weeny Fic Prompt Challenge

After the excitement of Teeny-Weeny Hallowe'eny, our mini-boys can't get enough of the awesomeness of their fans! So, as they've been having some fun and larks recently, they challenge YOU to come up with the story behind it.

Rules are as follows:
100 word minimum, 1000 word maximum, and you have until Sunday 16th November to produce and post your fic. We've decided not to curtail your creative juices, so if you wish to build a fic based on the adventures of Mini Cas, Sam and Dean; the little plastic dudes, then go right ahead.  Alternatively you can create a fic based on Canon Cas, Sam, and Dean with the picture in mind. It is entirely up to you!

Whatever rating and genre you feel is perfect for the fic is entirely your call as well, so we can go for Gen, slash, Het, Crack, whatever floats your boat - just be sure to post appropriate warnings if any are necessary! The main thing here is to have fun and enjoy yourselves. My fellow mods and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with; our previous fic challenges have been a hoot and a half! :D

You're welcome to post the fic here, or post at your own lj's as long as you add a post with the link in over here at spn_on_parade also, pimp away my friends, pimp away :D

As is the boys want, they have decided to come out of hiding and play a little game with our loyal readers ;) This here is the first ever Fic Prompt Challenge.

One of the Mods will take a photo and ask y'all to come up with a little fic based on said photo :)
