Not at all, just different style! Mine are pastels, so much easier to blend that normal pencils.
I wish I could get that fun, spontaneous style you get with your cartoons - but that's just not my style!

That's what pastels can do? Damn, that's lovely. Your style creates highlights that make the dolls look three-dimensional. I love it! I've been looking at your Dapplegrey art all this time, and thought you were fantastic with pencils. Turns out you're amazing with pastels. :)

All my art is done in pastels. You can buy them in pencil form and they're the ones I use. You ought to give them a try, I bet you could work wonders with them :)
