My little herberts have been amusing themselves today as I've been otherwise engaged.

I came home to find they'd commandeered my laptop and were acquainting themselves with some of the quirkier aspects of their home nation - that is, the British talent for thinking up bizarre, funny and downright rude place names.

Bobby was delighted when he found his home from home.

Agents Pop and Funko weren't sure if they were being educated - or insulted!



Crowley found a little reminder of home.



Castiel also found a reminder of home.  I wonder if they have railways in Heaven?



Meanwhile, Dean, the obnoxious little git, found another way to torment Sam



Agents Pop and Funko may not actually recover from what they found ...

Sheldon found a namesake, but not everyone was impressed.



Dean and Sam made a discovery that could only remind them of one person ...

Dean had better check Baby's radiator - she might be running hotter for the foreseeable future!



Dean, meanwhile, found a place that reminded him of someone very demanding - his stomach!



And then everyone found something that reminded them of Dean.

Oh, yes, I know the Wallops! The trouble is, there are so many weird and rude place names that I could have made this post ten times longer if I'd used them all.

Apart from the Wallops, there are also Crapstone, Shitterton, Brown Willy and Butthole that deserve an honorable mention!!!

I've been to Sandy Balls! I went there on a camping trip with the Boys Brigade (I haven't had a sex-change, I was in the Girl's Brigade!). I love Dean teasing Sam with "Bitchfield" and then finding the "Ham, Sandwich" sign, brilliant! And I never knew there was a place called Twatt!
