Forests of New England Nature Walk

To celebrate the paradaversary, I took the minis on a nature walk in the woods.



It was a little scary for them at first, so they spent some time trying to hide from beasts.

In trees,


and in caves,


But the beasts found them anyway.


It wasn't until Ember assured them that she'd watch out for them and keep them safe that they were able to relax and have a good time.

"Whatever, Sam, I'm going to take a nap on this Memory Moss (TM) while you geek out over there."



"What a cool fort!  I wonder what lives here?"


"AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!"


"Sam, is there something on my head?  I feel like there's something on my head.  Sam?  SAM??!!"



"Hey Sam, look, tentacle dick!"


*Sam faints*

That poor Gecko - If only he knew!!!

This was adorable (even with the giant tentacle dick :D) I loved their Frrodo and Sam cosplaying. They looked like they had great fun out there exploring your beautiful forest with lovely Ember as their bodyguard.

It's what everyone does at the waterfall. I hold hands with my dam self when I go alone! It's such a beautiful spot.

This just cracked me up, from them hiding in the trees and the caves to the LOTR cosplay and the 'memory moss' but the tentacle dick made me cry with laughter! Thanks for sharing :)

I have SO much fun with my minis. I have a certain friend who gets down, and I love sending her pics of the minis getting into mischeif to cheer her up. So grateful for this community inspiring me.

She's named after the book City of Ember, which my daughter was reading when we got her. She is the BEST DOG.

This was great! I don't know how often you use your camera, but I think you're a pretty good photographer.

Great cameo by the gecko. Did you keep putting the boys in its path, or did it keep approaching them?

I just use my smartphone, but thanks! I would love to take lessons with a real camera some day.

Those little guys are called red efts, and I see dozens on every walk. It did take a bit of staging, so I only did a few tries with each one before I moved on and left them in peace.

Ha! I knew it. Despite all his cool behaviour, even Dean has a romatic side. He and Sammeh holding little plastic hands at the gorgeous waterfall is nothing but adorable.

Of course Dean has a romantic side. But a lot of the time he ruins it by trying to cover it up with dumb jokes. That's the way I see it anyway.
