Warning: rated PG for some coarse language and creatures with more or less than 2 legs.
Well, we needed a solution to Spike and Angel's sunburn issue, so we put our thinking caps on . . .
Unfortunately, I fear Angel may have got the sock Dean was in earlier :S

But there was no time to listen to grumbling. There was lots more to see, including another of Sam's favourite animals.

But Dean seemed to have more luck attracting four footed friends, especially with my own personal favourite Aussie critter. This wombat seemed to take quite an interest in the mini charmer.

Finding something our sun sensitive friends could enjoy was becoming a problem.

But the Reptile Park has something for everyone!

Actually, it was so dark in there, we didn't get to see much of anything except for this wholly unconvincing quoll. It seemed to inspire Dean and Spike's mutual appreciation of Monty Python, though.

But we needed to find a safe haven for Angel and Spike before the sun came out again, so we moved on to the Reptile House.
Hmm. I guess this is the God-king of the Reptiles. Angel Investigations has had experience with this kind of thing . . .

Maybe this time it's Angel who's the Chosen One O_O

But I'd been saving the most entertaining exhibit for last. Well, entertaining for me, anyway >:}

Unfortunately for Dean, he didn't see what was right behind him.

Now you all heard me warn him he'd be sorry for gobbing on my sock, didn't you? :P

Vengeance is a dish best served last >:}
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SPN_ON_PARADE!

Date: 2015-07-10 01:10 am (UTC)There are so many natural things that can kill you in Australia, the boys don't need to hunt for supernatural monsters!

Date: 2015-07-09 06:20 am (UTC)Another little treasure trove - I loved Dean bonding with the wombat and his comment about the joey - I've always shared his opinion when you see a poor mama Kangaroo/wallaby staggering around with a huge, idle great dollop of a joey hanging out of her pouch!
Poor Spike and Angel can't see much, but I guess it's better than exploding.
Dean and Spike's Quoll diatribe was perfection!
And yes of course ... there was creepiness at the end. *shudders*
No more than Dean deserved ;)
This was fantastic, thank you so much!!

Date: 2017-07-09 05:36 pm (UTC)the tour around Australian fauna was most informative. Cranky Crocs versus Un-caffinated Dean? No contest!!
I'm delighted Sammy is a supporter of Tasmanian Devils. It's appalling what's happening to them so good for him for carrying the flag to keep the little nutjobs from going extinct. ♥
I definitely heard you warn Dean!! :)))))
