Some of you may or may not be aware that between Asylum 14 and Jus in Bello, I have been living away from home. The reason for this being that my darling husband called me on The Sunday of Asylum 14 to say that he'd been violently sick and ill on Friday and the early part of Saturday, and that he believed it was Norovirus which had been going around the hospital where he works. Obviously, I was very sympathetic of his plight, but let's be practical here - close exposure to a horribly contagious stomach lurgy is exactly what you don't need four days before you fly abroad!!!!
Therefore, we agreed that I should live away from home for a few days between A14 and JIB while he recovers, and one of my precious friends from Asylum 14 has very kindly put me up for those few days.
Anyway, today I ventured home to do some packing and pick up my passport etc, on the basis that the worst of the illness was 5-6 days ago, so Mr Dizzo who is feeling right as rain now should no longer be contagious. However, I've been taking no chances and have got through a whole pack of anti-bac wipes while I've been here, nor have I eaten or drunk anything or used the bathroom!
The boys took this opportuniity to venture out of the bag where they've been holed up while I've been living an itinerant life, but even though I've been paranoid, I think they may be over-reacting just a tadge ...
