Cap's been fitting in quite well lately! He's also trying to get me (and the boys) into better shape. What better way to do that then a standing desk, I wondered?

Sam seemed impressed with my choice. I certainly couldn't beat the price.

I didn't anticipate the cultural education we'd have to do…later.

I also ended up on the receiving end of some very dirty looks from our resident mechanic.

Building things always puts people into screwy moods. No pun intended.

…or maybe that's just me.

Sam, Dean, nor I, are particularly looking forward to telling Cap about Ikea. Is it that obvious?

Dean really doesn't like it when we state the obvious.

On the other hand, he got to enjoy the fringe benefits.

Cap is such a useful guy! His super-strength came in quite handy.

Not to be outdone, Sam made himself useful with the one thing I felt he would be safe doing.

Dean stopped glaring at me when he found out I had a real tool-kit. Of course, I didn't mention it was from Ikea…

The boys decided to give me a little eye-candy pose once they'd gotten the desk completed.

…which they were obviously hoping I'd be happy enough about to forget about the part of building things I hate the most.

For the record, my new standing-desk looks like this:

I doubt I'll be building anything else any time soon, unless I decide to brave Ikea for more bookshelves. Wait until poor Cap gets a load of that!
