So, as part of my birthday celebrations, Mr D and I took ourselves off to the beautiful and ancient village of Avebury which sits inside a prehistoric stone circle.

Against our better judgement, we took a random selection of minis; ones we knew hadn't been there before.

I guess it's fair to say they were excited about the trip ...






After a delicious lunch in the village's one and only Pub, the Red Lion, which - I'm delighted to report - we managed to keep pretty much feet-free, we went for a walk inamongst the stones ...

Maybe mini!BuffDean got wrapped up in the  atmosphere of the occasion...
Or maybe he's just a deluded little pillock.



No you're not.  You're four inches high and those stones are ten yards behind you.



Honestly, it's like herding fleas ...



Actually, fleas would be easier ...





Okay, the fleas minis are rounded up, now the little brats are staying right where I can keep an eye on them.











Watch and learn minis - it's called sweet revenge.

Yep, revenge is a dish best served . . . and it looks pretty nippy up there , even with the buff Winchesters wearing scarves . . . or have they both taken to wearing ascots now? :P

It was a bit chilly ... and yes, I think they've repurposed their scarves into Ascots!

Interesting little factoid ... I (and of course the minis) live 4 miles from the horse racing town of Ascot :)

Bwahahaha, I don't know what made me laugh more, Bobby's "I can't even biodegrade to get away from them" or your face as you hide from your poor little minis! It looks like Avebury was pretty deserted, but I'd love to have seen the looks on any passerbys faces!

Avebury is such a beautiful village and the huge stones are amazing, what a lovely place to spend your birthday *hugs*

It's funny, the car park at Avebury was full to bursting, but I think nearly everyone was in the pub!
