That's the one thing I always remember about decorating the tree with Mom, how she'd carefully wrap up the lights in an attempt to cut down on the tangling, and how every December they'd again be a jumbled mess. And then there was always that one bulb that was out, so the whole string wouldn't light up, and you had to go through them all trying to find the defective bulb. Ah, sweet memories.

I have an artificial tree with the lights built into it now. :)
